Day 1

Up on deck waiting for the departure we hit the bar and loaded up with cocktails, the ship had a film crew in a helicopter today so we were leaving a little late and we would end up doing a 360 turn in the ocean to get a good sunny side shot for the video, this got us out a bit late but it didn’t matter as the mud slides were great, we had lunch which was ok traditional cheeseburger and fries and then went back to the rooms to hopefully see our luggage outside waiting. As expected the bags were waiting for us so we unpacked and settled into our rooms, a very satisfying shower later were were ready for our first night on the ship, we were dining at 8:00pm so we had time for a drink in the champaign bar before heading off to Isaac dining room. We were seated on a table for 8 but we were the only 4 so this may be how the rest of the week will pan out us 4 at the large table. The food was really good and the service was great, the only problem was that it had been a long day and some of us were flagging and was ready for bed, so after seeing the parents off we hit the casino for some reels. a very quick $40 later were were done in th casino until on the way out I spotted a mating where you had to line up a key into a hole by using a control joystick to move the key along and up and then hopefully into the lock, it actually looked really easy and with $800 cash as a prize I was hooked, but it was not as easy as it looked and after 15 goes I caved in and quit, but we did have a large audience watching and egging us on. (I will win this I promise) so me and Lorna had one more cocktail before retiring to our stateroom for a reasonably early night, 11:00pm.

We set the breakfast tag on our door and settled in for the night, Our first night onboard, will it be a restless one we will let you know tomorrow. Night Night.
